Hello everyone and thank you for visiting Shawn-Kris American Bulldogs.We are proud to present some of our American Bulldogs. (Which are mostly the old style AMERICAN BULLDOG).Our dogs are family and farm raised.We are located in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia!Our pups are raised and well socialized by us,our children and our grandchildren.

We believe that an Ameican Bulldog is an all around versatile dog. We breed our dogs for their working ability,protectiveness,loyality,and companionship. Our dogs here,work for us,hunt for us,protect us ,love us and great with our family.Our pups are broad chested,large boned pups. All of our brood stock is x-rayed free of HD before they are bred.Please,Also remember when looking for an American Bulldog: Now days, there are a lot of different meanings of the word "WORKING" American Bulldog. Just because a dog is a farm dog, doesn't mean it is not a "WORKING" dog.After all, that is where American Bulldogs started!! Some people in the breed just classify a "WORKING" dog as a dog that does weight pull, and or bitework.American Bulldogs are a true working dog. Whether it be a "Farm Working"dog, a "Weight pull" dog, a "Show dog", a "family" dog..etc... They ALL are considered "Working" dogs...After all, they are "Working".Also remember there are different styles of American Bulldogs and each breeder has their own line of dogs,so when you get a dog,get what you like.Please be advised,that it has come to our attention that there are a couple of so called breeders that are pushing the Shawn-Kris name to sell their pups.Please be careful before you buy. We would like to thank all of you for keeping our sons Dan and Tim in your prayers over the last few years. Dan's neck still has not healed correctly and he takes one day at a time. Tim is now home from Irag.We really appreciate all the prayers you've sent our way. Prayer works!!
